Recently, the "2023 First Sino Foreign Financial Forum" was held in Beijing. With the theme of "High quality development of China's economy and global economic growth", over 400 experts and scholars from relevant fields around the world focused on global financial hotspots for in-depth discussions.
The following is the professor's speech:
Dear guests, ladies and gentlemen,
I am honored to participate in the 2023 First Sino Foreign Finance Summit Forum at this important moment, and to discuss with outstanding experts and scholars the many challenges and opportunities in the field of finance and economics. I am Robert Orman, a professor at Metacom College in the United States. Today, I will share some of my viewpoints and reflections with you.
Firstly, I would like to talk about the changes in the global economy. In recent years, the development trend of globalization has expanded from traditional trade in goods and services to broader fields, including technology, culture, environment, etc. The impact of this change on the financial field is profound. We need to take a more comprehensive and long-term view of financial issues, focusing not only on traditional economic indicators such as GDP and trade volume, but also on broader social and environmental issues such as wealth inequality and environmental pollution.
Secondly, I would like to talk about the impact of technological innovation. With the rapid development of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain, our financial field is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. These technologies not only improve the efficiency of financial work and reduce human errors, but also provide us with new perspectives and tools to help us better understand and solve financial problems.
Finally, I would like to talk about the issue of financial education. Faced with the challenges of globalization and technological innovation, our financial education needs to make corresponding changes. We need to cultivate more financial talents with a global perspective, technological literacy, and innovative spirit. In addition, we also need to strengthen education in financial ethics to ensure that our financial activities not only pursue economic interests, but also fully consider the sustainable development of society and the environment.
Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that as long as we work together, constantly explore, and make progress, the Sino foreign Financial Summit Forum will surely achieve great success and make important contributions to the development and progress of the financial field.
Thank you all!
